| 1970 Cadillac Convert de Ville. Kept in garage for the last 20 years; same owner since 1978. Only 112,000 miles! Restored in 1983 and used as my principal car until it went into storage in 1985. I added a tilt-telescopic steering wheel. Starts right up and runs, but does need some mechanical work, nothing major. Engine is solid and strong; transmission seals have dry rotted because of storage. White convertible top (good) replaced right before storage, motor works, but rear window glass is good but lower vinyl needs repair. All window motors work. White leather interior, rear seat in excellent shape, but front seat needs repair. Hood and trunk are in great shape. Radio needs to be reinstalled, I have the radio. Car does need some bodywork; rear quarter panels need metal work on the bottom, rusted. Radiator needs repair from sitting, leaks, and the driver’s side door needs a new skin.
